Privacy
Short version: your SVG files are never uploaded — everything you do in the editor happens inside your browser. The site itself uses Google Analytics and shows ads, and both use cookies. You choose what you allow, and you can change it any time.

Your files
When you open an SVG here, the file is read by your browser and stays there. It is not sent to us, not stored on a server, and not seen by anyone else. Recoloring, resizing, optimizing, and exporting all run as code in your own browser tab.
That means:
- We never receive your file, its contents, or its name.
- Nothing is saved between visits. Close the tab and the file is gone.
- We cannot recover a file for you, because we never had it.
- Analytics and advertising never see your artwork. They measure page visits and feature usage, not the contents of your file.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the tool is used — which pages people land on, which features get used, and where the tool fails. This tells us what to fix and what to build next.
Google Analytics sets cookies and assigns a random identifier to your browser so repeat visits can be counted as one person rather than many. It records page views and product events such as “a file was opened” or “an export completed” — never file names, never file contents, never your artwork. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google discards the IP address at collection and does not store it.
Google LLC processes this data on our behalf. We keep it for 2 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Analytics only runs if you allow it.
Advertising
This site is free because it shows ads through Google AdSense. Ads pay for hosting and for the time that goes into the tool, so it can stay free and signup-free.
Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure them, and limit how often you see the same one. Depending on what you allow, ads may be personalized using data Google holds about you, or non-personalized.
You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cookies and your choices
We use Google’s Privacy & messaging tool, a Google-certified consent management platform, to ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set, where the law requires it.
- Necessary — needed for the site to work and to keep it secure. Always on.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, to measure how the tool is used. Only if you allow it.
- Advertising — used by Google and its partners to serve and measure ads. Only if you allow it.
You can accept one category and refuse the other — they are separate choices. You can change or withdraw either at any time: .
Declining changes nothing about the editor. Every feature works the same. You may see fewer relevant ads, and some ads may not appear at all.
What else we collect
Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard access logs — IP address, browser type, requested page — for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.
What we do not do
- We do not run session recording or heatmaps. Nobody watches a replay of your screen.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not require an account, an email address, or any personal detail to use the editor.
- We do not use your files to train anything, and we do not share them with analytics or advertising providers — we never have them in the first place.

Legal basis and your rights (EU/UK)
- Consent — for analytics cookies, advertising cookies, and any personalized advertising. You give it in the consent dialog and can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interest — for keeping the site running and secure: server logs.
You have the right to access, delete, correct, or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to garagemade.app@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in California or another US state with similar rights: we do not sell personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising partners may still count as a “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws — declining advertising cookies in the consent dialog opts you out.
Children
This tool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them. Ads shown here are not targeted at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site.
